I am an ACP-accredited Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist and Doctor of Child Psychotherapy, with over six years of experience working in therapeutic settings, including within the NHS, supporting young people, young adults, parents, and families.

I specialise in working with adolescents and young adults, particularly around anxiety, identity, relationships, emotional overwhelm, separation, and life transitions. I see adolescence and early adulthood as deeply important periods of emotional development — times when questions about identity, belonging, relationships, direction, and self-understanding often come more fully into awareness.

Alongside my clinical work, I have taught psychotherapy, developmental psychology, and mental health across several universities, including New York University London, and I hold a PhD in Psychosocial and Psychoanalytic Studies. My academic and therapeutic work continue to inform one another, deepening my interest in emotional development, relationships, creativity, and inner experience. I am a researcher and have also written and published many articles and a book on the role of space within psychotherapy.

Over time, my work has expanded beyond verbal psychotherapy alone and into mindfulness, meditation, and body-based approaches to emotional wellbeing. I am a qualified Mindfulness Teacher (UK College of Mindfulness Meditation), and I continue to explore the relationship between emotional life, the body, the nervous system, imagination, and self-understanding.


My Approach

I offer a reflective and supportive space where thoughts, emotions, relationships, and experiences can be explored openly and without judgement.

My approach is grounded in psychodynamic psychotherapy while also integrating mindfulness, nervous-system awareness, and body-based approaches to emotional wellbeing. Through my work, I became increasingly interested in how emotional difficulties are experienced not only in the mind, but also in the body — through anxiety, overwhelm, tension, emotional shutdown, or disconnection from oneself.
